An idea for a poetry outing in November: The Victorian Final of the Poetry Slam competition. The two top poets will go to the Sydney Opera House for the final for the chance to win the prize of $5,000. The audience decides who wins. I will phone to see how far in advance we need to book. If anyone is interested in competing, I think you have to qualify through the local rounds. There is one in Mornington, which might be the closest to us.
